Calling all people who love bacon and peanut butter and chocolate!
This Peanut Butter-Bacon Football Dip is the cat’s pajamas – I mean, just look at it. Take a gander. Do you see the insanity going on here? Do you understand the deliciousness upon which you gaze with thine eyes? Can you HANDLE the flavor explosion placed before you and your retinas?
Good, I’m glad you can. Because you’re gonna LURVE this dip (and so will all of your Superbowl partying folk!).
Let’s get something straight here: This dip is not for the fainthearted, for the wimpy-tastebudded, for the rabbit food eater. It’s made of anything and everything your inner fat kid desires – chocolate chips and peanut butter and real butter and cream cheese and bacon and powdered sugar (which I forgot to add to the photo – d’oh) and icing, OH MY.
We’re going to mix up all the good stuff in a stand mixer (minus the bacon and the icing – we’ll save that for later).
Then we’re going to shape it into a football or an eye or a very large pair of lips.
Then we’re going to cover it all up with cooked and crumbled bacon to make the “pigskin.” You know, for extra credit.
Then we’re going to pipe on the football laces with white icing and serve it with Nature Valley’s oh-so-tasty Granola Thins.
Then we’re going to gaze upon our miraculous game-day creation (again)…
And then, we’re going to devour it. If you can HANDLE the flav – sorry.
Dig in, ladies and gents!
