Should you have mac and cheese tonight, or pizza? Well, how about both?!
That’s right! Two of your favorite comfort foods just came together to make a stellar new dinner idea – Mac n Cheese Pizza!
It’s cheesy, it’s full of flavor, and can literally come together in under 20 minutes.
All you need is your favorite macaroni (this is a great use for leftovers!), some Pillsbury artisan whole wheat pizza crust, extra cheese and toppings if you would like …and you’re good to go.
I chose to add in some sun-dried tomatoes, extra Parmesan and mozzarella, and chopped parsley to give my leftover macaroni and cheese a little extra kick and color. But feel free to go with whatever sounds great to you!
Here’s how to make it happen:
Start by pre-baking your Pillsbury Artisan Whole Wheat Pizza Crust according to package instructions. Easy peasy.
Then get your macaroni and cheese ready to go! You can either make a fresh batch, or this is perfect for leftovers!
Once the pizza crust is pre-baked, spread your mac and cheese evenly over the top of the crust. Then add on any extra toppings you would like. I used sun-dried tomatoes and shredded mozzarella.
Pop it back in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until that cheese is nice and melted and the crust is fully cooked.
Remove, and admire your dinner. A bit of a “cheesy” closeup. So good!!!
