For those of you who can’t choose between the classic Mint Julep and Margarita, just do what I plan on doing, and mix them together!
This Mint Julep Margarita blends the most basic versions of both drinks into a fantastic hybrid.
First step is to make the mint syrup. Add some water to sugar and mint, bring to a simmer, and let it sit for about 20 minutes.
Bourbon, tequila, lime, and mint syrup into the shaker.
Salt the rim of a glass and fill with ice. Pour in the drink and serve!
