Good heavens, people. Drop everything.

Drop your fork, your knife, your pen, and your bag of cheese popcorn. It’s time to make cake.

This Salted Caramel Bundt Cake is the cake to end all cakes. It’s insanely easy to make, it requires few ingredients and the taste is the most amazing combination of sweet and salty thy taste buds will ever experience. This is why it’s imperative that you follow these instructions to the letter, so that you, too, can bake the most delicious cake of all cakedom. Lest you think I exaggerate, give it a try and find out for yourself. You’ll see.

Here’s how to bake The Cake:

Get your cake batter ready

First, get your cake batter ready. That’ll be one Betty Crocker vanilla cake mix, water, oil and eggs.

Pour batter into cake pan

Whisk it all up, pour into your prepared bundt pan and bake as directed.

While cake is cooling, make your caramel sauce

While cake is cooling, make your caramel sauce. Follow my #1 life rule: DO NOT STIR. This applies to most things. While cake is cooling, make your caramel sauce

Once the caramel is nice and, well, caramel-colored, pour in the butter and heavy cream (do you see what I mean here? SO TASTY). Now, please break my #1 life rule and stir, stir, stir.

Get ready for caramel coating

Once the cake is fully cooled, get ready to indulge-ify it by coating it with caramel.

Add caramel

Just. Like. This.
