Here’s a tasty twist on the dessert pizza. I have to agree with Stephanie, most of the dessert pizzas out there are sickeningly sweet. This recipe is more nuanced, and Stephanie also provides some ideas for other toppings – just don’t skip the powdered sugar!
2. Cinnamon Toast Crunch Ice Cream by Food In My Beard
With summer (finally) arriving and temperatures climbing, I’ve gotten back into my weekend ice cream routine. There are a few great places in town that make their own, but I sure wish Dan worked at one of them. Then I’d get to try his ice creamations, like this chocolate-covered Cinnamon Toast Crunch recipe. He said this flavor sold out in record time. No doubt!
3. Eggplant Lasagna by Macheesmo
Even the most standard recipes are not safe in the land of Taste for Adventure. Take this eggplant lasagna recipe, for example. Where are the noodles? You have to have noodles for lasagna, right? Well, no! Eggplant serves as a healthy hack…so good that “Nick recommends this dish anytime you’re trying to befriend a vegetarian.”
